1. The filter is an indispensable device to convey liquid in pipeline, usually installed in the inlet side of pressure relief valve, water level control valve or other equipmentto eliminate impurities in the media to protect the valve for normal use.

2. The main type of filter is Y type. filter body and bonnet are made through constant temperature hot forging and annealingprocess, stem are also through annealing process which greatly improve the mechanical behavior of the valve and its safety factor. Valvesare tested strictly in accordance with API598 "valve inspection" standard, all valve are tested qualified before delivery.

3. The installation and commissioning of the filter must be carried out by qualified technician, the two sides of the pipeline different degree of deviation cannot be too large, otherwise it will produce excessive stress when installing and result in damage to the valve. To install valve, it should tighten the near-end of hexagonal or octagonal wrenching flats rather than far-end of the valve so as to avoid causing valve deformation

4. It should be noticed that the direction of flow and the direction of the arrow on the valve body are in the same direction when installing the filter.

5. Valve's thread accuracy and effective length strictly implement ISO 228 and related standards, it must use appropriate force to tighten valve by pipe wrench and screw into the effective length of the thread when installing.Overexert will resultin product deformation, sealing surface damage and leakage.
