    1. Gate valve is a flow control components in pipeline system through the hand wheel to drive the wedge along the channel axis in vertical direction to cut off the fluid.

    2. Gate valve has thread, flange and welding connection. valve body and bonnet are made through constant temperature hot forging and annealingprocess, stem are also through annealing process which greatly improve the mechanical behavior of the valve and its safety factor. Valves are tested strictly in accordance with GB / T 13927-1992 "GENERAL VALVE PRESSURE TEST" standard, all valve are tested qualified before delivery.

    3. The installation and commissioning of the valve must be carried out by qualified technician, the two sides of the pipeline different degree of deviation cannot be too large, otherwise it will produce excessive stress when installing and result in damage to the valve. To install valve, it should tighten the near-end of hexagonal or octagonal wrenching flats rather than far-end of the valve so as to avoid causing valve deformation

    4. Valve's thread accuracy and effective length strictly implement ISO 228 and related standards, it must use appropriate force to tighten valve by pipe wrench and screw into the effective length of the thread when installing.Overexertwill resultin product deformation, sealing surface damage and leakage.

    5. Flange gate valve installation must ensure that both ends of the pipe flange parallel to the coaxial, and keep appropriate spacing, ensure deviation of the corresponding connecting hole do not to be too large, otherwise it will affect the valve installation quality and sealing performance.

    6. To ensure the normal use of the valve, it is necessary to install a filter at the entrance of pipeline. And it should design the appropriate preventive measures in order to avoid the pipeline pressure or temperature fluctuating frequently which will reduce the service life of the valve.

    7. the valve's handweel is designed based on the corresponding torque, do not use the tool with increased moment arm to replace in order to avoid excessive torque and damaging the valve

    8. The material of valve's stem seal packing is PTFE.You can tighten the gland nut to compensate the packing if there is corrosion leakage. Itneeds to remove the fluid pressure when replacing the packing.
